A winter storm is on the way later this weekend.
A Winter Storm Watch has been issued Sunday evening through Monday evening for Delaware, Dubuque, Buchanan, Jones and Linn counties. The National Weather Service says between five to nine inches of snow is forecasted, with blizzard conditions possible. Winds could gust as high as 50 mph.
The National Weather Service has also issued a Winter Storm Watch for Clayton and Fayette counties for Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon. Snowfall totals in Clayton and Fayette are forecasted between 3 to 6 inches, with winds gusting as high as 55 mph leading to potential blizzard conditions…
