Iowa City man arrested for child endangerment, interference with official acts

The Iowa City Police Department arrested an Iowa City resident Sunday after allegedly endangering a child and interfering with police acts.

24-year-old Iowa City resident David Torres was arrested on three counts of child endangerment and one count of interference with official acts resulting in bodily injury.

According to the criminal complaint, at 2:42 a.m. on March 22, Iowa City police officer Brad Reinhard responded to a report of a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Reinhard found Torres crouching next to a vehicle that the reporting party was in.
