MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – A Cedar Rapids woman will appear in court next month for a plea hearing in connection to a wrong-way crash that killed one and injured three others.
Katie Austin-Karkow, 32, turned herself in and was arrested in April of 2025, according to authorities. She was originally charged with homicide by vehicle – operating while under the influence. She is now facing additional reckless driving charges ahead of the plea hearing on April 2.
