CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – Cedar Rapids Police arrested 43-year-old Kenny Lee Rogers of Cedar Rapids on Friday, April 3, 2026, on charges of attempted murder connected to a March 25 shooting. According to police, an adult male was driven to a local hospital on March 25, 2026, with a single gunshot wound to the chest.
Investigators determined the shooting took place in the 1700 block of A Avenue NE and identified the suspect as Kenny L. Rogers of Cedar Rapids, authorities said. Police said the victim has since been released from the hospital.
