MARION, Iowa (KCRG) – Gas prices across Iowa have climbed sharply in recent weeks, with the average cost for a gallon of regular reaching $3.69 statewide.
Thatโs up 21 cents from a week ago and more than 50 cents higher than this time last month. Difficulty transporting oil supplies through the Strait of Hormuz has kept crude oil prices hovering near $100 a barrel.
