State grant helps Iowa pork farmer expand business, educate consumers

LONE TREE, Iowa (KCRG) – Thirty Iowa farmers received grants from the Iowa Department of Agriculture, including a third-generation pork farmer in Johnson County who plans to use the money to grow his business and educate the public.

Chad Yoder, who operates Yoder Family Farms, received a $25,000 grant from the Choose Iowa Value-Added Grants program.
