APACHE JUNCTION, AZ (AZFamily) — U.S. 60 eastbound is closed in Apache Junction after a head-on crash between a dump truck and a passenger vehicle.
The crash happened just after 2 p.m. on U.S. 60 near Ironwood Drive. The dump truck may have blown a tire, which caused the driver to cross the median and collide head-on with an eastbound vehicle, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
