Tacos Tijuana is planning to open its newest Valley location at Barnone at Agritopia this October, bringing the family’s longtime street-taco concept to the Gilbert neighborhood where Wendy Torres has lived with her family for the past 11 years.
Wendy now runs the business alongside her husband, Holmes, following in the footsteps of her father, Adolfo Torres, who launched Tacos Tijuana from a food truck in 2016. The original truck, parked near 67th Avenue and Thunderbird, sold out on its first day. The family eventually expanded to brick-and-mortar restaurants in Glendale and Mesa, where Tacos Tijuana has operated for eight years…
