PHOENIX (AZFamily) — After hitting a high of 99 on Saturday, we will shave off a few more degrees today with a forecast high temperature of 95. This is shy of the record of 99 set in 2002 but still well above the average high temperature of 85.
There will be a mix of sun and clouds, with breezes out of the southwest at 5-15 mph, with gusts of 15 to 20 mph, possibly in the afternoon. A Red Flag Warning will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday for areas east of Phoenix into much of southeast Arizona, with dry conditions and 30-35 mph gusts.
Partly cloudy skies will continue on Monday, with highs in the mid-90s. A weak disturbance will move in Monday night into Tuesday, bringing a slight chance of showers to the higher terrain north and east of Phoenix, but the Valley will likely stay dry…
