Road rage: Man shot in hand after flipping driver off near Maricopa, DPS says

MARICOPA, AZ (AZFamily) — A man is in jail after troopers say he shot a driver in the hand who was flipping him off on a highway near Maricopa early Wednesday morning.

Randolph John Rose, Jr., 41, was booked into the Pinal County jail on charges including aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, endangerment and drive-by shooting.

Just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday, troopers responded to reports of road rage with shots fired on State Route 347 near Casa Blanca Road involving a Jeep Cherokee and a Ram pickup truck.

According to court documents, the Jeep was traveling northbound on SR 347 when an incident occurred involving the Ram. The Jeep driver pulled up to the right side of the truck being driven by Rose, and was then shot in the upper left hand…
