This trail is 3 miles out and back, and not easy. The entire trail is uphill, with the first mile more gradual, and the last half mile steeper and with loose rock. The trail also can be a bit hard to find at times, so definitely use AllTrails to stay on the trail; we use the paid version, but the free version also has the option to follow the route. The last 0.3 miles is the steepest, comparable to parts of the Echo Canyon Trail on Camelback Mountain.
