Group of formerly homeless Arizona men heads to help with central Texas flood recovery

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A group of volunteers from the Valley departed Wednesday morning to help out after the flooding disaster in central Texas.

The Phoenix Dream Center, an organization that helps people experiencing homelessness get jobs and places to live, planned the trip for 12 men to go to Texas to help with rescue and recovery.

All 12 men on the trip previously experienced homelessness before they were helped by the Dream Center…
