Dog hoarding case in Chandler delayed again

The Chandler court case against the woman accused of abusing dozens of special needs dogs in and her own mother has been delayed again.

The trial of April McLaughlin (a.k.a. Sydney McKinley, et al) was scheduled to start on July 15. However, McLaughlin’s attorney — Richard Bishop — on July 3 filed a motion to continue the case and the judge overseeing it set a new date of Sept. 3.

It appears McLaughlin and her attorney and prosecutors are close to a settlement…
