PHOENIX – Three men from Chandler, Tempe and Scottsdale have been sentenced in connection with a telemarketing fraud scheme that stole millions of dollars from more than a thousand victims across the country, federal officials said Tuesday.
Brian Hopkins, 62, of Chandler was sentenced on July 16 to 21 months in prison and ordered to pay more than $1.8 million in restitution, according to a release from the Arizona district of the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
