Mesa Police Department Issues Silver Alert for Missing 71-Year-Old Woman with Medical Conditions

The Arizona Department of Public Safety has released a Silver Alert as the Mesa Police Department searches for 71-year-old Quenett Scott, a resident of Mesa, Arizona, who went missing on Friday, August 8, 2025. Described as a Black female, standing 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, Ms. Scott was last seen departing her home near McDowell Road and Val Vista Drive around 5:25 PM.

Known for wearing her long sleeve green top paired with white pants and white shoes, her style became a small beaming light of her identity that day – a signal now used to trace her steps. “Quenett has a medical condition which makes her prone to seizures, and she is without her medication,” the Department of Public Safety reported. Concern mounts not only because of her age but due to the fact that her necessary medications are not with her, amplifying the urgency of her situation.

With a belief that she may be somewhere on foot within Mesa or the neighboring East Valley cities, Investigator Silva of the Mesa Police Department is the appointed point of contact for this case. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Quenett Scott is advised to immediately call 480-710-5859, assisting in a swift and hopeful resolution to her return…
