Current and former students are continuing to push for the dismissal of a theater instructor under investigation for sexual harassment as another semester begins at Mesa Community College.
Several community members joined the students in a small protest on Aug. 25 outside the theater building, saying they want instructor Mace Archer to be barred from teaching at the community college — and anywhere else in the country.
Students told The Arizona Republic they have received few updates from the college after they said Archer pressured students to strip onstage for a midterm assignment in March.
