Seafood boils, lobster rolls and more are coming to Chandler when Angry Crab Shack opens its doors at 3033 S. Gilbert Road. The restaurant is expected to open some time during the first quarter of 2026, according to Collins Appiah, the franchise partner of the location.
The restaurant, still in its construction phase, is the first Angry Crab Shack to be build from the ground up, according to the Chandler Independent. Appiah confirmed the news, saying that each Angry Crab Shackâs design is unique.
The restaurant was founded in 2013 by Ron Lou, a former professional football player who played for the Houston Oilers and the Philadelphia Eagles. Upon retiring, Lou spent the next three decades creating different restaurant concepts including a breakfast spot, a sports bar, and a number of Chinese restaurants.
