‘We ran out of food’: Valley charities brace for high demand with SNAP in limbo

PHOENIX — With the future of federal food benefits still in limbo, charitable organizations around Arizona are anticipating a spike in demand for resources.

Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego held a press briefing Friday as thousands of Arizonans are about to potentially lose access to their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits.
