PHOENIX (AZFamily) — When the community bands together, they can do amazing things, even at a young age! Some Valley preschoolers and their families proved just that by raising big bucks for Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
Several Goddard Schools in the greater Phoenix area recently took part in the “Step Up, Stop Cancer” fundraiser. The mission was personal for Jake Thompson, the owner of The Goddard Schools in Cave Creek and Gilbert. Thompson’s son was diagnosed with leukemia and treated at Phoenix Children’s. Today, his son is now cancer free!
Thanks to generous donations from the families of Goddard Schools, nearly $16,000 was raised for the hospital! The donation will ensure that the hospital can continue to provide world-class care, advanced medical research and give hope to children in need.
Thank you to Goddard Schools for doing Something Good!…
