Facing months of resident complaints over soaring water bills and disputed meter readings, the Gilbert Town Council has unanimously approved a $476,980 contract for a third-party audit of the town’s water meters and advanced metering technology.
The contract authorizes national engineering firm Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. to conduct a comprehensive review of Gilbert’s water meters and Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system.
