Flashy Tempe steakhouse divides space, adds sushi concept

Tempe restaurant Three Thirty Three opened with a splash in late 2024, following a $10 million buildout. The Asian-inspired steakhouse brought fire dancers, massive curved LED screens and $200 steaks to The Watermark on Scottsdale Road.

But now, despite the monstrously expensive buildout, the company has remodeled the space. The parent company, Kaos Hospitality, has divided a portion of the restaurant to create a new concept called IX Sushi. The new eatery is scheduled to open on Feb. 9.

Three Thirty Three and IX Sushi reside under one roof, but according to a news release, “they are entirely independent restaurants, offering distinct menus that do not cross over.”…
