The Mission Gilbert Announces Opening Date

The highly anticipated debut of The Mission Gilbert is just around the corner. The restaurant will open at Epicenter at Agritopia on Monday, Feb. 9, marking its third location in the Phoenix metro area. Led by acclaimed chef and partner Matt Carter, The Mission Gilbert brings the brand’s signature atmosphere, cuisine, and agave-forward beverage program to one of the East Valley’s most active dining districts.

The Gilbert outpost joins The Mission’s pair of successful and longtime Scottsdale locales. The opening continues the steady growth of The Mission brand while maintaining its established focus on modern Latin flavors and a refined, yet approachable, dining experience.

Located within Epicenter at Agritopia, The Mission Gilbert reflects the design elements and ambiance that have become hallmarks of the restaurant’s existing locations. The space features a dramatic Himalayan salt brick wall (a hallmark of The Mission design), warm wood accents, and a candle-lit, moody interior designed to encourage extended meals and social gatherings. The overall aesthetic balances intimacy with energy, offering a setting that works equally well for date nights, group dinners, and celebrations.
