Phoenix, Arizona USA police report 26-year-old amateur cyclist and 2x USA Triathlon Collegiate National Champion Hannah Rose Henry was on a training ride last Sunday morning in south Phoenix when she was allegedly run over and killed by a vehicle driven by a drug addict, who fled the scene.
“When officers arrived at the scene, they located the adult female, later identified as Hannah Rose Henry, in critical condition. The Phoenix Fire Department arrived on the scene and pronounced her deceased,” Phoenix Police said. “The driver of the vehicle involved did not remain at the scene.”
According to court documents, using video from the scene police tracked down the vehicle and driver at a nearby home, discovering pieces of Hannah’s clothing still stuck under the vehicle.
