Tempe Preparatory Academy’s athletic program is experiencing an exciting growth era and renewed energy under the leadership of Athletic Director Chris Guyll and Assistant Athletic Director Trever Tucker. Together, they bring experience and a shared philosophy and vision, centered on character and community, for the future of Tempe Prep Athletics and its role within the broader Tempe community.
Chris Guyll has spent the past decade building athletic programs across Arizona. His career began coaching cross country and soccer at a charter school, where he discovered his passion for youth sports. He later served as Athletic Director at several schools and with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley before joining Tempe Prep.
“I missed being part of a close-knit school community and working directly with student-athletes,” Guyll said. “Tempe Prep has been the perfect opportunity to return to what I love most, which is leading, building, and serving through athletics in a city that values education, youth development, and community involvement.”…
