Fire crews in south Phoenix rushed to a structure fire early Saturday near 36th Avenue and Baseline Road, according to the Phoenix Fire Department. Engines and ladder trucks were sent to the intersection and remained on scene during the department’s initial alert, as firefighters worked to get control of the blaze.
As of the initial post, officials had not released information about injuries, evacuations or what might have started the fire.
