PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Not bad for a Saturday, we had a high of 82 degrees. This morning, we are starting out the day with temps in the mid to upper 50s. Later this afternoon, we will see highs well above average, around 89 degrees. On average, we should be seeing temps around 76 degrees. The record on this date is 92 degrees, so we could get close this afternoon.
Our next First Alert Day arrives on Monday due to the potential for scattered rain. An area of low pressure will bring us a few clouds and a slight chance of showers in the morning. There will be a better chance of rain late Monday and overnight through Tuesday. Rainfall totals will generally be light, around 0.05″ to 0.10″, though up to 0.25″ is possible in the higher terrain east of Phoenix.
