Three juveniles were shot Wednesday night in a north Phoenix neighborhood near Cave Creek Road and Greenway Parkway, rattling yet another block along the busy corridor. Officers arrived to find two of the youths at the scene, each with at least one gunshot wound, while a third juvenile had already been rushed to a hospital before police got there. The shooter or shooters had taken off, and detectives have since locked down the area to investigate.
According to 12News, officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered two juveniles suffering from at least one gunshot wound each. Phoenix Fire crews took those victims to hospitals with serious injuries, while a third juvenile had already been transported by the time police arrived. Investigators have not released any identifying information about the victims as the case remains active.

Phoenix police say the suspect or suspects left before officers arrived, and detectives are canvassing the neighborhood for witnesses and security footage, per the Phoenix Police Department.
