TEMPE, AZ (InvestigateTV) — Two 14-year-olds say they started parkour for fun and stayed for the community — finishing first and third at the 2025 U.S. National Championships in the women’s style division.
Parkour is a sport that can be practiced both indoors and outdoors. The word comes from the French term “parcours,” meaning “the way through” or “the path.”
While there is no official estimate of the number of participants worldwide, USA Parkour says there are about 3,000 certified instructors globally.
