Arizona City Set to Be as Hot as the Hottest Place on Earth

Phoenix, Arizona, is forecast to be as hot as Death Valley—often referred to as the hottest place on Earth—on Thursday.

According to the National Weather Service (NWS), the city is expected to see a high of 104 degrees. The same high is forecast for Furnace Creek—a community within Death Valley.
