TEMPE, Ariz. — Visitors to downtown Tempe may soon notice some changes to the areas surrounding Mill Avenue.
On April 20, a new metal sign will be installed 20 feet above the ground to welcome visitors to Tempe’s many bars and restaurants that are positioned around the ASU campus.
The “MILL AVENUE” sign will float over Mill Avenue on cables installed near University Drive as part of a project to “refresh” this region of the city. Other improvements include wider sidewalks, new electrical lines and the planting of more than 100 trees…
