PHOENIX — The skyline near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport is preparing for a new addition as developers officially broke ground Monday on the first hotel at the SkyBridge Arizona master-planned development.
SkyPlus Hotel Corporation celebrated the start of construction on a dual-branded Wingate and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham. Located at 6639 S. Sossaman Road, just north of Pecos Road, the project marks the first hospitality venture within the 363-acre international trade and logistics site.
