Mesa college student arrested again at Wisconsin beagle research facility

PHOENIX — A Mesa college student is facing more criminal charges after authorities say they drove a vehicle through a gate at a Wisconsin dog breeding and research facility during a large protest.

Investigators say Michelle Lunsky, a student from Mesa, drove a car through a gate at Ridglan Farms. The incident happened as hundreds of animal rights activists gathered and attempted to break into the site.

According to deputies, some protesters cut through fences while others blocked nearby roads. Law enforcement responded with pepper spray, tear gas and rubber bullets as the situation escalated…
