PHOENIX — Chandler officials are implementing a lottery system to fill hundreds of spots on a waitlist for a new affordable housing project.
The waitlist will be used to fill dozens of apartments through a project-based rent program at Villas on McQueen, which is located at 77 N. McQueen Road, just south of Chandler Boulevard.
Potential tenants who earn below set income thresholds must start the process by creating an online account with the Chandler Housing & Redevelopment Division. Then they can submit pre-applications for the Villas on McQueen waitlist lottery from noon Friday until noon May 22…
