CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Boeing granted $100,000 to the Charleston County School District (CCSD) to increase student exposure to advanced manufacturing careers in the Charleston region.
According to CCSD, the investment gave 700 CCSD students the chance to visit high-level manufacturing sites, including Boeing, Mercedes-Benz Vans, Cummins, and XscapeWorks, a local firm that creates and manufactures escape rooms for clients throughout the country.
