Four injured in I-95 crash involving semi, SUV

COLLETON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — Four people were injured Monday morning when a Chevrolet Tahoe collided with the rear of a semi-truck on Interstate 95 southbound near the 59-mile marker.

The crash occurred around 7:15 a.m. and left two adults in the front seat of the Tahoe trapped after the vehicle became lodged under a flatbed trailer, pushing the dashboard into the occupants. Firefighters used hydraulic rescue tools to remove the doors and free the pair.

A child in the back seat was able to get out of the vehicle and suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver also reported non-life-threatening injuries…
