CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — The Palmetto Palace announced its ‘Free Dental Day’ will return to the North Charleston Convention Center this July, providing services such as exams, X-rays, cleanings, fillings and extractions at no charge.
Pre-registration and X-rays are scheduled for July 9-10 from 9 am. to 5 pm., with treatment days set for July 17-18 from 8 am. to 5 pm. The event is open to adults 18 and older. While a photo ID is preferred, organizers said no insurance is required.
Last year’s event served more than 1,500 patients and delivered an estimated $335,000 in dental care with the help of 145 volunteers, according to organizers…
