Charleston leaders consider changes to street vendor rules, locations

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Charleston city leaders are considering changes to where street vendors can operate on the Charleston peninsula and the rules they must follow after ongoing conflicts between vendors.

The discussion took place during a Traffic and Transportation Committee meeting June 11, where officials reviewed proposed updates to the city’s designated vendor spaces.
