CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Dangerously hot weather is expected throughout the Lowcountry for the weekend with feel-like temperatures of more than 100 degrees.
The Live 5 Weather team declared First Alert Weather Days for Friday, Saturday and Sunday because of the triple-digit heat indexes expected in the area.
The National Weather Service issued heat advisories for Williamsburg and part of Georgetown County from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Friday.
