NORTH CHARLESTON (WCIV) — A Houston man is in custody following a two-year investigation by the North Charleston Police Department into a series of thefts known as “jugging,” authorities said.
Bobby Ray Taylor Jr. is being held at the Al Cannon Detention Center, police said. Investigators allege he stole more than $260,000 in cash across multiple incidents. The investigation remains ongoing.
North Charleston police have obtained 12 warrants for Taylor, with additional charges pending, including breaking and entering, grand larceny and conspiracy. Authorities say the charges are tied to as many as 18 separate incidents…
