NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Dress for Success Charleston hosted its Summer Market Fundraiser on Saturday, offering discounted clothing and accessories while raising money for programs that help Lowcountry women enter and re-enter the workforce.
The event took place at the Naval Base in North Charleston, with early bird entry at 9:30 a.m. and general admission at 10 a.m.
Organizers said all proceeds benefit programs that help women prepare for job interviews, re-enter the workforce and set them up for success long-term. Funds also support the Saving Our Inventory Clothes Closet, which serves women in the tri-county area.
