Charleston man arrested in Chicora-Cherokee after multiple drugs found during patrol

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A Charleston man was arrested Tuesday after police discovered multiple drugs during a patrol of the Chicora-Cherokee community, according to the North Charleston Police Department.

69-year-old Arthur Lee Chisolm was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession with intent to distribute cocaine base and possession of a schedule II narcotic.

The arrest report states that officers were patrolling in the area of Orvid Street and North Carolina Avenue due to the recent assaults, firearm-related incidents and large disturbances that occurred over the weekend.
