NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — A violent Fourth of July block party that left officers injured and got six people arrested has North Charleston police expanding their response to youth crime, with officials saying the solution will require more than arrests.

Videos showing fights and an officer being attacked during the gathering spread across social media over the holiday weekend, prompting renewed concerns about youth violence and large-scale gatherings.
