CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Prepare for dangerously hot temperatures across the Charleston area on Wednesday.
An extreme heat warning will be in effect for multiple counties along the South Carolina coast because of very high heat index values.
The warning, issued by the National Weather Service in Charleston, is active from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Berkeley, Charleston, coastal Colleton, Georgetown and Williamsburg Counties.
