NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Several roads are reported closed or blocked due to flooding, downed trees and downed power lines.
Drivers are urged to avoid these areas until further notice and use alternate routes.
Reported closures in Charleston C include:
- Montague Avenue and Morningside Drive — flooding
- Meeting Street and Melbourne Avenue — flooding and tree down
- Beaufort Avenue near Meeting Street — flooding
- Three Lakes Road and Arco Lane — flooding
- Spruill Avenue and Buist Avenue — flooding
- 2005 Grayson St. – tree down
- 1135 South Blvd. – tree down
- Rutledge Avenue between Calhoun Street and Bennett Street- flooding
- 5064 New Road Extension – power lines down, both lanes shut down
- 94 Dalton Street, across Grove Lane in Daniel Island – tree down
- Watermark Boulevard and Bowman Road in Mount Pleasant – tree down
- Highways 162 and 164 – tree and power line down
- Rutledge Avenue between Calhoun and Bennett Streets — flooding
- Washington Street between Laurens and Hassell Streets — flooding
- Calhoun Street between Smith Street and Ashley Avenue — flooding
- Ashley Avenue between Bennet and Calhoun Streets — flooding
