Berkeley County leaders tout impact of One Cent Sales Tax program

MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCBD) – Berkeley County leaders say the county’s One Cent Sales Tax program continues to fund major road, transportation, and recreation improvements as officials work to meet the needs of one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing areas.

Since voters first approved the program in 2008, one cent of every dollar spent in Berkeley County has been dedicated to infrastructure and quality-of-life projects.
