Faith leaders, advocates demand accountability after 3 recent ICE deaths

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) — Community members, faith leaders and advocacy groups gathered Saturday morning at Park Circle to honor three men who died during recent federal immigration enforcement actions and to call for accountability in each case.

Organizers said the vigil was a space to grieve and to demand answers. Chants of “legalization for all” and “ICE out” were heard throughout the gathering.
