ISLE OF PALMS, S.C. (WCBD) – A man, 41, visiting Isle of Palms from Ohio, died after he was pulled out of the ocean unresponsive on Tuesday, July 21, just before 2:00 p.m., according to the Isle of Palms Police Department (IOPPD)
The IOPPD and the IOP Fire Department responded and performed CPR on the beach until the man was taken to a local hospital by Charleston County EMS.
Police say the man was later pronounced dead at the hospital. The Charleston County coroner’s office says it will release identifying information at a later date…
