What Now reported last November on plans for the Charleston debut of Smalls Sliders, the iconic chain that serves sliders out of its unforgettable orange-shipping-container “cans.” With one Can dropped, the Small Sliders is now open at 2280 Ashley Phosphate Road.
Behind the location is franchisee Elliott Strott, who discovered the concept while working in the New Orleans area.
“I thought to myself, if they start expanding and selling off territories, I’d like to try this out in Charleston. Lo and behold, they opened it up for franchisees, and I bought the rights to the Tri-County area for Berkeley, Dorchester, and Charleston counties,” Strott told What Now back in November…
