CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – Renovation planning is underway for the Charleston Fire Department’s Stations 2 and 3, moving crews into a temporary station during the process.
Officials said that crews will be using the temporary station for several weeks while renovations are planned for the historic building at Meeting Street and Wentworth Street.
The historic station will be closed for the duration of the process. Renovations to the building are expected to begin in the coming months, officials said, but no timeline has been established as of yet…
