CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) — A James Island woman has been found guilty of food stamp fraud after illegally colleting over $20,000 in benefits, according to a release from the office of Solicitor Scarlett A. Wilson.
The release states that after a day of trial, a Charleston County jury deliberated for two and a half hours before returning the verdict that Cory Nicole Baker was guilty of food stamp fraud.
